Lair Finance is the first decentralized liquid staking service on Kaia. Users can choose a GC to delegate their assets from the list of whitelisted GCs partnered with Lair Finance. Lair only works with trustworthy GC partners who can secure users' assets.

Choosing the right GC is important for Lair and stKAIA holders because they can influence the overall base APY of stKAIA. Different GCs can offer different APY due to their commission rate and voting power. The lower the commission rate and voting power are, the higher the APY they can provide to the stKAIA holders.

But don't worry about fragmentation. No matter which GC you choose from the list, you'll get the same stKAIA token that is universally accepted across the Kaia ecosystem.
