We contribute to Kaia's decentralization by simplifying non-custodial staking. By making staking easy on Kaia, we strive to enable participation for all users. Decentralized staking does not only help the chain's security, but it also increases individual staker's staking APY. Lair aims to be the most decentralized and yield-optimized staking service on Kaia.
is the newly introduced architecture on Kaia mainnet. It enables public delegations, making it easy for non-validators to stake their KAIA token by delegating it to their choice of governance council(GC) members. is the first staking service provider to adopt CnStakingV3 on Kaia, making public delegations to multiple GCs available. Lair Finance enalbes KAIA holders to delegate their stakes to a GC via smart contract and accrue staking rewards via non-custodial staking.
stKAIA is the liquid staking token given to the users who stake with Lair Finance. It's a yield-bearing token that accrues rewards automatically. Its value against $KAIA increases consistently according to the staking rewards accrued from staking. For example, when a user stakes first, staking 1 KAIA returns 1 stKAIA. But as times goes by and the staking rewards get accrued, 1 stKAIA will return more than 1 KAIA token. Users do not need to manually claim and stake their tokens.
